KAAMATAN
The Kaamatan Festival is a significant cultural celebration observed by the Kadazan-Dusun and other indigenous communities in Sabah, Malaysia. It is a harvest festival held annually in May, with the grand finale on May 30 and 31. The festival is a time of thanksgiving for a bountiful rice harvest, honoring Bambaazon, the rice spirit.
